What type of leather do you clean?

Upholstery Cleaning

How often should I clean my upholstery?
Fleming’s Carpet Cleaning always suggests that our customers follow the manufactures recommendations. However, if it’s a high traffic piece we recommend every 3 to 6 months.
How does Fleming's Carpet Cleaning clean upholstery?

We use our powerful equipment mounted on our truck, just like the carpets, but with a different tool. Some fabrics do require a more delicate hand in which case we adjust our products.

How long does furniture take to dry?
Dry time can be affected by many variables such as temperature, humidity, and airflow to the area. The typical dry time is 6 to 12 hours.
What about the manufacturer’s protective coating?
Along with daily living and dry soils that can deteriorate the original protective coating, Fleming’s Carpet Cleaning process can also remove some of that. We offer (for an additional charge) to reapply a coating in certain upholstery.

Tile Cleaning

How do you clean my tile?
Fleming Carpet Cleaning uses a high-pressure rotary tool that comes equipped with dual rotating jets. This equipment is mounted on the same truck mount steam & pressure cleaning that we use to clean your carpets. We also pay close attention to your grout line and use specific products to remove the dirt that is embedded on the grout line.
How often should my tile be cleaned?

As with any type of flooring many factors come into account, such as the amount traffic in the area, children, pets, and routine floor care will indicate how often your tile and grout must be cleaned.

How long will it take to clean my tile?
Typically, for an average size room, tile cleaning can take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. However, this can vary based on the size of the room, the amount of soil in grout lines, and room configuration. Then we can seal the grout line at an additional cost.
Why should my grout lines be sealed?
Just like carpet, grout is a porous material that will absorb soil and spills. Having a sealant applied will generate a protective barrier, giving you more time to clean up dirt and liquid spills before they soak into the grout. The type of sealant you choose will determine the degree of stain resistance.
How long do I have to stay off the floor once the tile has been cleaned and resealed?
To preserve the life of the sealant, we recommend 30 to 45 minutes in order for the seal to dry completely. Please avoid bleach and other harsh chemical cleaners as these can wear away the sealant and cause it to break down prematurely.

Carpet Cleaning

Can you get all the spots out?
We cannot guarantee that we will remove EVERY single spots or stain. Unfortunately, there are certain substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. Also, the age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers also plays a factor in being able to remove ALL spots. Our expert technician will try to determine if this is the case before cleaning, but they are not always able to determine this prior to trying to remove the spots.
Can you apply a deodorizer to my carpet?
Yes. After we have steamed cleaned, we can use a special deodorizer that is heavily concentrated. We use our high-pressure sprayer to apply than with a special rake, we get it deep into the carpet. This is great for your carpet.
My carpet is heavily soiled. Will there be an extra fee?
All carpets are different and sometimes be heavily soiled. However, there is a significant difference between soiled and stains. On stains, we will do our best to go over them several times. In certain cases if you require extra time and work, this will be an additional charge. Our tech will never do this work without first talking to you!
Won’t water ruin my carpet?
Modern carpet technology is water-resistant, and the limited amount of water left in the carpet due to our high-powered suction leaves the carpets damp, causing no problem to the carpet.
Will cleaning my carpet get rid of fleas?

We cannot guarantee that the regular cleaning will get rid of all the fleas. If you do have a flea problem in your carpets please inform our technicians, as we do offer a special cleaning service for this problem. We advise our customer that the carpet is not the only place fleas will lay eggs, you might consider having your upholstery treated and cleaned as well as any area rugs or pet beds.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry?
Dry time can be affected by many variables such as temperature, humidity, and airflow to the area. Generally, it can take anywhere between 8 to 24 hours for the carpet to completely dry.
Can I walk on the carpet right after the cleaning has been done?
Yes. However, we recommend you avoid high traffic until the carpet is completely dry. Extended traffic may prolong dry time. Use caution as wet feet may cause slipping and falling.
There are some areas in my carpet that have wrinkles or bubbles. What can you do?
It’s common for carpets to loosen up over a period of time. If you want them stretched down flat, please let our technicians know you would like to add this service, and we’ll be able to schedule an appointment with one of Fleming’s Carpet Cleaning technicians to repair the carpet wrinkles
